in Kashmir to motivate the public to prevent cruelty to animals and
to promote animal welfare and conservation policies that advance the
well being of both animal and people. Small, but effective, seeking
to prevent further destruction of Kashmir's Wildlife and its habitat
and level the playing field by infusing resources and broad-based
support into campaigns to protect wildlife, captive-held animals,
and biodiversity wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.

Comprehensive, long-term
research of wild animals Kashmir for a better understanding of
their biology and ecology for conservation planning and
management.
A focus on conservation
landscapes to support demographically and ecologically viable
wildlife metapopulations, efforts to identify their habitat in
priority landscapes, and community based monitoring programs.
Support a regional
initiative to address wildlife trade.
Support programs to
mitigate the human–snow leopard conflict in the conservation
landscapes.
Support transboundary
dialog through an annual meeting of the wildlife working group
to discuss conservation actions and issues, and share lessons.
Work closely with other
partners and organizations working towards wildlife
conservation in the region.
Generating greater
awareness about threats to wild animals and bringing about
changes in attitudes and behavior towards wild animals
People's participation in
conservation and conflict resolution efforts.
Produce a short video to
introduce animal issues for presentation at workshops
and TV broadcasts; and
Organize a TV panel
discussion program featuring a wild life specialist,
conservationist, and local officials and celebrities.
